Sebrina earned her Bachelor of Physical Education Degree from The University of Alberta in 2002 where she specialized in Human Performance & Exercise Physiology. She is an active member of the Alberta Kinesiology Association.

Sebrina went on to receive a postgraduate certificate in Advanced Athletic Therapy at Mount Royal College and became a Certified Athletic Therapist in 2004. 

Sebrina has been working professionally as an Ergonomic Specialist for over 20 years.

Sebrina founded the Functional Health Initiative in 2015 and enjoys spending her time educating women about the importance of strength training, practicing progressive overload and how to improve their metabolic health. She is a Professional Member of the Metabolic Health Initiative.

Sebrina is happily married, has two boys and resides in Okotoks, Alberta, Canada.
